Delete your account or data
You can close your oboda account, or delete specific data while keeping it. Both requests can be made from inside the app. This page explains what each one removes, what oboda keeps afterwards, and why.
Close your oboda account
Closing your account revokes your access immediately and permanently. It cannot be undone from the app.
- Your sign-in credentials, including any linked Google account
- All active sessions — you are signed out on every device
- Your access to every company you belong to, not just the one you are signed in to
- Your ability to sign in again with this account
How to request it
- Sign in to oboda.
- Open the account menu at the top right.
- Choose "Delete my account" and confirm by typing your email address.
If you are the only administrator of a company, you will be asked to promote another administrator first, or to contact us to close the company. This is to avoid leaving a company with no one able to manage it.
Delete specific data without closing your account
You can delete some of your personal data and keep using oboda. You choose which categories to delete; nothing is selected for you.
Notifications and alerts
Push notification subscriptions, registered devices, and your email notification preferences.
Saved preferences
Your default Quick Checkout locations.
Sessions and devices
Stored session records and mobile sign-in tokens. Your other devices stay signed in until their session expires.
Profile details
Your name, profile photo, position and agency are cleared. Your email address and password are kept so you can still sign in — closing the account is what removes those.
How to request it
- Sign in to oboda.
- Open the account menu at the top right.
- Choose "Request data deletion" and select the categories you want removed.
This never deletes business documents. Sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, collections and payments are records belonging to the company, not to an individual user.
Delete a company's data
A company's records are owned by the company, so only a company administrator can request their deletion. Doing so closes the company for everyone.
- The company's records become inaccessible in oboda
- Any active subscription is cancelled
- Every member of that company loses access
How to request it
- Sign in to oboda as a company administrator.
- Go to Settings, then General.
- In the danger zone, choose "Delete company data" and confirm by typing the company name.
What oboda keeps, and why
oboda is used to run distribution businesses, and some records must be kept even after a user leaves. These are retained by the company that owns them, not used to identify you.
- Business documents created under your account — sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, receivings, releasings, collections and payments
- Audit records showing which actions were taken in the company and when
- The creator reference on those documents, so a company can still tell who recorded a transaction
Philippine tax and accounting rules require a business to retain its invoices and supporting documents, and to be able to produce them on request. Deleting them on an individual request would leave the company unable to meet that obligation. Your name and email stay attached to those records unless you also request deletion of your profile identifiers.
Access is revoked as soon as you confirm. Retained business records are kept for as long as the company is required to keep them.
Need help, or cannot sign in?
